You will each receive your own 'traditional Aussie swag', washable sleeping bag (3-deg rating), pillow & sleeping mat.

Swags are large enough for 2 people if you want to share with a friend.


Yes, you will have adequate free time when we stop for lunch to collect snacks and drinks before we head into camp. Once at camp there are no shops.

Bottled water is provided with campfire dinner and breakfast.


A campfire Dinner and 'Breakie' is provided on the overnight tours. An array of camping foods will be brought out for the group to choose from. While your guide is happy start the cooking, we do ask that the group also helps. Dinner is usually, 'sausage sangas', jaffles, baked beans, noodles and desserts. Breakfast includes fruit, cereal, eggs, toast, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.


During the Day-Tours we have regular toilet stops. 

There are drop toilets at the campsite or you can take the shovel and find a peaceful spot amongst the eucalyptus trees (depending on campsite)

Make sure you remember your toilet paper!


While we can't guarantee animals, our guides are trained trackers/bushman and will do their best to get you close to the local wildlife.

We will also go for an optional night wildlife walk to spotlight some nocturnal animals. We often see kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, possums and sugar gliders.


Possibly. Australia is a wild environment and we are going deep into it.

Your guide will make you aware of potential dangers at each location and how to deal with situations if presented.

For legal/insurance reasons we advise purchasing personal travel/medical insurance.


No, we are a tourism business. We are locals (who surf) showing you the best spots and allowing you use of our gear.

We have large softboards for the beginners and fiberglass options for the experienced surfers (contact us prior to booking)


Progress is different for everyone, the more you surf, the faster you progress.

Travelers on our tours have a very good success rate at learning to ride waves. 

Surfing in smaller groups will give you more time catching waves and regular tips from your guide.



Yes, we have surfed since childhood and also have past experience in surf schools and lifeguarding. Your guide will surf with the group so free to ask your them for surfing advice, they will be happy to give you tips as a friend :)



We tour in a Landcruiser 4WD 7-seater

A group of 4 comfortably tours with ample space. 

Larger groups of 5 or 6 are available and the 6th rides FREE making it cheaper for the group.

Please know that there is less space with 6 in the car.

Groups of 10-15 ride in the Land Cruiser and Minibus

Yes, you will need to sign a waiver prior to departure. This is to ensure we have an emergency contact and that you are fully aware of the potential dangers of the Australian wilderness. 

While we very rarely have had to provide first aid, it is strongly advised you purchase personal travel/medical insurance.


No, we strongly advise purchasing personal travel/medical insurance before booking.

Australia is a dangerous place. We will always try to keep you from any dangerous situations while on tour. Please understand the wilderness and ocean is full of potentially dangerous animals and situations.
